An Editorial in the July 2018 Issue of the Mayo Clinic Proceedings with the title: Estimated Cardiorespiratory Fitness Assessment (“eCRF”) as a Patient Vital Sign — concluded with the following sentence:
“Vital Signs are relatively easy to assess, and when abnormal, they may alert clinicians to existing or impending disease – the same may be said for eCRF and hence the consideration of eCRF as an additional vital sign.”
